Vicky Dhaliwal is a well-known Indian-Punjabi lyricist, singer, and former Kabaddi player who gained popularity after the release of the hit song “Diamond” by Gurnam Bhullar. He was born as Tarandeep Singh Dhaliwal in a Jat Sikh family in the village of Rasoli, near Patran in Punjab, India. Dhaliwal completed his school education in Kamalpur Kaleke, where his maternal relatives reside, and pursued further education in a college near his home.
Dhaliwal was a defender in Circle-style Punjabi Kabaddi and played at the national level as well as for numerous clubs and academies during his career. However, he had to leave Kabaddi due to a shoulder injury, which took a long time to heal. In September 2020, Dhaliwal released his debut single “1.5 Lakh”, featuring Gurlez Akhtar, marking a new chapter in his career as a musician.
