Sardar Sohi has also worked mainly in Punjabi and Hindi language films as an actor, comedian, screenwriter, and dialogue writer. Sardar Sohi is a Sikh from Mumbai, India. Sardar Sohi left his B.Sc degree at Mustuana Sahib and Khalsa College in Amritsar, Punjab, India during his second year and moved to Mumbai, where he learned acting. Sardar mainly joined Harpal Tiwana’s theater company and collaborated with Harpal Tiwana from 1975 to 1985. At the PTC Punjabi Film Awards ceremony, he won two awards for Best Negative Role in the films, Dulla Bhatti (2017) and Mitti (2011).
