She is a professional Indian singer as well as a lyricist. Kaur spent her childhood in Delhi, India. She currently resides in Mumbai, India. She started her singing skills when she was only about 5 years old and since then she has been singing.
Then she started playing instruments at the age of 6. She was very much interested in singing since childhood. Rashmeet has learned to play harmonium from her mother and also to meet. Kaur had started her career with Gurmat Sangeet, apart from this, Rashmeet had also gone to sing at the Prime Minister’s house at the age of 10.
Then after this she joined the music session of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya in Delhi, India. Kaur also took special Gurmat Sangeet lessons from Jaswinder Kaur. Rashmeet had also won the classical singing competition. Rashmeet has also gone to IIT Delhi and won the title of Aster Singing and after that she was selected in Zee TV show Sa Re Ga in 2012.
In the year 2012, Rashmeet Kaur had also won the title of Sur Sartaj. And in the year 2015, she participated in Asia’s Singing Superstar and made it to the top six contestants. In the year 2017, she was also honored with the Mirchi Music Award in Bengali for the upcoming Female Voice of the Year nominee.
Let us tell you that Rashmeet is also very fond of getting tatoos made and has an inked sun tattoo on her left shoulder and an inked moon tattoo on her right shoulder. She also has a tattoo on one left corner. Flying bird is also tattooed on the left leg.
