Prabhleen Sandhu is also a Punjabi television and film actress, who rose to fame in the popular drama television series, Mohe Rang De on Colors, where she played the role of a revolutionary Kranthi. She also made her debut as a film actress in the year 2005 in the Punjabi film, Yaaraan Naal Baharan, where she played the role of Dolly, a friend of Harman Kaur (played by Juhi Babbar). The film also became one of the most successful films in the Punjabi film industry. It was only later that she played the role of Guddi in another Punjabi film, Ik Jund Ik Jaan. She also had a role in the Punjabi-Pakistani film Mehndi Wale Haath, in which she also played the role of Ravi.
Prabhleen also played the role of Zeba in the drama film, Rahe Chaddi Kala Punjab Di, starring Shakti Kapoor and Sharad Saxena. Also in 2011, she was signed to play the role of Anju in the crime thriller film Not A. This film was also adapted into the gruesome murder of Neeraj Grover in the year 2008.
She was also seen in the film Solah, later she played the role of Miriam in the superhit film Shahid opposite Rajkumar Yadav. And this film was premiered in various film festivals around the world. Also in 2013, she also played the lead role in the film Nabar. And this film also won the title of Best Punjabi Film at the 60th National Film Awards.
