Gurdas Maan is a Punjabi artist, musician, choreographer, and actor. He is considered one of the most striking figures in Punjabi music. And he was born in a Sikh Jatt family in Giddarbaha city of Punjab, late S. Gurdev Singh Mann and late Bibi Tej Kaur. And he gained national attention in the 1980s for her singing career. Gurdas Maan became popular with his hit song “Dil Ka Mamla Hai”. And soon after came the last hit songs “Mamla Ghallad Hai” and “Challa” from the Punjabi film Laung Da Lishkara (1986), which Maan recorded under the music direction of the wonderful Jagjit Singh.
