About Geeta Zaildar
Geeta Zaildar is a famous Punjabi cultural singer in the Punjabi music industry. Presently he is the role model of Punjabi youth. And he was born in the small village of Doaba, ‘Garhi Mahan Singh’ (Jalandhar) in a Jat farmer family. and Jagir Singh and Smt. Gian Kaur. He has received basic education from Govt. High School Garhi Mahan Singh. He used to sing songs of Gurdas Maan, Kuldeep Manak, and many other Punjabi cultural singers at that time. He participated in Bhangra competitions and sang ‘Boliyan’.
After graduation, he moved to Canada permanently. And it was in the meantime that he met Ustad Janab Shamshad Ali, who was working as a music professor at Amardeep Shergill Memorial College, Mukandpur. Geeta Zaildar had learned professional music from him for many years. He made his professional debut in 2006 with the album ‘Dil Di Rani’ after receiving music education for 13-14 years. He has recorded over 6 high-quality professional albums. His song ‘Siti Maar Ke Bolauno Hat Ja’ has earned him international recognition among Punjabi music listeners. Geeta Zaildar’s songs like ‘Kaniya’, ‘Heart Beat’, ‘Sair’, ‘Pakiyan Kandhan’, ‘Ranjhe’ fall in the category of memorable songs.
He also has the God-given art of acting. And in 2012, he accepted the offer as the protagonist in the Punjabi film Pinky Moge Wali produced by Batra Showbiz. Apart from singing and acting, he is also a famous lyricist. He wrote more than 50 songs and sang most of them himself. He has made his name in the society by singing his songs.
