Rajvir Jawanda is an Indian-born actor, singer, and model who predominantly works in the Punjabi music industry. He is best known for his work in the films Kaka Ji, Subedar Joginder Singh and Mindo Tasildarni. In 2018, he made his debut in the acting industry with the film Subedar Joginder Singh. The film is directed by Simarjit Singh.
The film is also based on the life story of the brave Indian soldier Joginder Singh. He was martyred in a 1962 Indo-China war and was posthumously honored for his bravery. The film stars Gippy Grewal and Aditi Sharma in lead roles, while Guggu Gill, Kulwinder Billa, Karamjeet Anmol and Rajvir Jawanda play supporting roles. Sumeet Singh produced the biographical war film. In 2019, Rajvir Jawanda was featured in the film Kaka Ji: Son of Royal Sardar.
The Punjabi play was directed by Mandeep Benipal and the story of the film was written by Gill Raunta. The film was produced by Ravneet Kaur Chahal and Rajesh Kumar and starred Dev Kharoud, Aarushi Sharma, and Jagjit Sandhu. Gurmeet Singh has composed the music for the film. The story of the film revolves around a boy named Kaka Ji, who has to protect his beloved Deepi as he unknowingly gets involved in a dangerous gang called Kale Kachiya Wale.
